What is RecNet
Glasgow Club Donald Dewar
- Mondays (from 9 November 2026)
- 8pm-9pm
- £5.50 per session
Sessions delivered in partnership with Netball Scotland.
RecNet is a relaxed, recreational way for adults to enjoy netball without the formalities of the traditional game. With fewer rules and no need for formal team positions, referees, coaches or uniforms, it’s suitable whether you’re completely new to netball, haven’t played since school, or just want to enjoy a fun, non-competitive game.
How RecNet Differs
- Non-Competitive: Unlike traditional netball, RecNet is non-competitive. There are no scores, rankings, or pressure to win. It’s about enjoying the game, not stressing over results.
- Mixed Teams: RecNet often features mixed-gender teams, breaking away from the gender-specific setup of traditional netball.
- This encourages diversity and inclusivity.
What should I wear?
- Casual Attire: No need for uniforms, wear comfortable clothing and trainers, and you’re ready to play.
