Scotstoun Tennis Halls

Temporary change to access

Notice of temporary changes to access: Glasgow Club Scotstoun tennis halls

To support work ahead of the Commonwealth Games and the installation of three new padel tennis courts, there will be some temporary changes to access and facilities at Glasgow Club Scotstoun’s tennis halls. You will still be able to play tennis for the duration of the work, with some minor changes:

Key dates and what to expect

Monday 16 & Tuesday 17 February - Alternative entry point:

Courts 1, 2 and 5 will be closed to allow for the new padel materials to be delivered. During this time, access to the tennis courts will be via the Badminton Academy entrance.

Monday 16 – Saturday 21 February - Viewing balcony

The viewing balcony in the tennis hall will be unavailable during this period.

Monday 23 February – Friday 9 March

Two structural supports are being relocated at the area between tennis courts 4 and 8 (at the base of the viewing balcony on the East side). So that area and access to the viewing balcony from that side will be closed.

Supporting you during the work

We’ll do everything we can to minimise disruption during this period. Clear signage will be in place, and our team will be available on site to help with directions and any questions you may have.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation while these improvements are carried out.

Further updates on the Commonwealth Games and the exciting new padel court development will be shared in the coming weeks.
