Who am I

I have 8 years' experience working a variety of roles within the fitness industry. These roles have included personal training, strength and conditioning coaching, community outreach lecturing and football coaching. I studied Football Performance and Health, Fitness and Exercise at college before moving on to study Sport and exercise Science at University. During my Time at University, I completed 2 internships as a strength and Conditioning coach with Partick Thistle’s youth academy and with the Glasgow School of Sport. These roles have taught me a lot about strength training for performance and have greatly influenced the way I approach training.

 

What I do

I help people get stronger and fitter for sports and everyday life. I take a holistic approach when designing training progammes and factor in areas such as recovery, posture, body-shape and training history. I meet the client at the level they are at, and we begin the process of reaching their goals. My training philosophy is to train the body for athleticism and function rather than only appearance. This way, not only will you look strong, but you will also be strong. If we train the body to move better and become more athletic then our appearance will also improve as a side-effect.
