Gorbals Pool Refurbishment Works

The pool at Glasgow Club Gorbals will reopen on 1st of July as planned.

The swimming pool at Glasgow Club Gorbals opened in 2000. It quickly became a well-used local pool, attracting over 1,500 visitors per week.

As with any swimming pool, continued investment is required to deliver a more comfortable environment for swimmers and support the long-term provision of well-maintained health and fitness centres across the city.

A programme of essential maintenance work has taken place including the refurbishment of the pool filtration system.

This investment will ensure Glasgow Club Gorbals will be able to continue playing a vital role for swimming provision in the city for the future.
