Equipment

Padel rackets are solid bats with no strings and small holes across the surface. They are smaller and thicker than tennis rackets, making them easier to control.

Padel balls are similar to tennis balls but are slightly smaller and have lower pressure, which means they bounce less.

Rackets are available to hire as part of your booking, subject to availability.

We're unable to provide balls, so please bring your own. If needed, balls can be purchased from the Sportmax retail stand in the venue.

Booking and Access

IMPORTANT:

  • All players must check in together at reception before heading to court
  • Your allotted time includes equipment set-up and dismantling
  • Bookings are charged at the discounted rate (junior or concession) when booked by a qualifying customer.
  • Paid bookings are non-refundable unless Glasgow Life is unable to provide the activity. Please refer to our terms and conditions relating to bookings and activities.
  • Padel is usually played in doubles, so at least half of the players must show proof of any discount (junior or concession). If proof isn’t provided, the full adult rate will apply for those players.
