Who am I?
Scoliosis has been both a blessing and a curse in my life. At its worst, it hindered my ability to perform everyday tasks like sitting at a desk. However, it also led me to resistance training, which gave me more than I ever hoped for: it reversed the condition and ignited my passion for skillful and functional movement. This journey opened doors to various training disciplines, including hypertrophy, strength, and Olympic lifting, adding valuable tools to my toolkit.
My work ethos has also been shaped by my experience in the mental health and gender-based violence sectors, both locally and nationally. I adopt a compassionate and solution-focused approach, using movement as an effective and accessible way to facilitate change
What I do
“Eat well and stay active” – we know the recipe for optimal health. Yet, we encounter obstacles such as not knowing where to begin, a sedentary lifestyle, or childcare responsibilities that prevent us from following it.
I aim to help you overcome these challenges, both in and outside the gym. While the gym environment enables you to achieve significant strength and body composition goals, we’ll also pay attention to the other 23 hours of your day. From postural alignment and nutrition habits to your workstation setup and creative opportunities for movement – I take a 360-degree approach. Together, we’ll develop your fitness toolkit that feels enjoyable, energizing and adds to the quality of your life.
