Springburn Pool to Reopen

Pool Reopening Tuesday 23 June

Springburn Pool is set to reopen after a significant refurbishment programme in time for the school summer holidays.

Glasgow Life, the charity that leads culture, events and active living in Glasgow, has confirmed the swimming pool will reopen to the public on Tuesday 23 June following.

The work was carried out to provide swimmers with a more comfortable environment and make sure Glasgow Club Springburn continues to serve the local community for years to come.

The works included upgrading the pool operating system and air handling units, poolside decoration including new tiling and the refurbishment of the changing village, poolside showers and toilets. 

New energy-efficient boilers and a modern ventilation system will help ensure a sustainable future for the popular leisure centre. The project also included replacing signage throughout the centre with refreshed Glasgow Life branding.

From Tuesday 23 June, the opening hours for Springburn Pool will be:

• Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 21:00
• Saturday & Sunday: 08:00 - 16:00
