Drumchapel Pool will reopen Monday 9 September

Drumchapel Pool will reopen to the public on Monday 9th September after a programme of refurbishment and the removal of RAAC from a section of the changing village.

The refurbishment included the replacement of air handling units, upgrading the Building Management System to improve air quality, enhancing the pool filtration system, new tiling and glazing where required and refurbishment of the pool divider. The works will provide a more comfortable experience for pool users whilst improving energy efficiency.

Andrew Olney, Director of Libraries, Sport and Communities said: “The pool is important for many people in Drumchapel and surrounding areas. The discovery of RAAC and the opportunity to do further work extended the time Drumchapel Pool was closed but ensures the building and pool will continue to serve the local community for many years to come.”

Opening Hours for Drumchapel Pool from Monday 9th September are as follows:

Monday 10am to 4pm

Tuesday 10am to 4pm

Wednesday 3pm to 9pm
