HYROX Comes to Glasgow Club
What is HYROX?
HYROX is a rapidly growing, global "fitness race" that combines 8 km of running with 8 functional workout stations, designed for all fitness levels.
Held indoors, participants alternate between a 1 km run and a functional exercise:
- SkiErg: Replicates cross-country skiing movements.
- Sled Push: Pushing a weighted sled across the floor.
- Sled Pull: Pulling a weighted sled back using a rope.
- Burpee Broad Jumps: A burpee followed by a horizontal jump.
- Rowing: Standard indoor rowing machine.
- Farmer’s Carry: Walking while holding heavy kettlebells.
- Sandbag Lunges: Forward lunges with a weighted sandbag on your back.
- Wall Balls: Squatting and throwing a medicine ball at a target.
Get pushed to your limits and work hard alongside experienced HYROX athletes who'll help you learnt the rules, improve your technique and boost your fitness like never before. Train like and elite and achieve your goals!!
