Fitness Classes

At Glasgow Club, we offer a wide range of fitness classes to suit every level of fitness. Whether you're looking to try something new or stick to a routine, we have something for everyone.

You can join our classes in two ways: as part of a monthly membership plan or on a Pay-As-You-Go basis. If you attend more than one class per week, our membership plans offer better value since they include unlimited access to classes, gym and swimming at ALL our venues and more benefits too.

Tap below to find out more about how to book, what to wear and more when it comes to fitness classes at Glasgow Club:

It's easiest to book classes using our free mobile app, but you can also find them on this website too and book online, or in person at the venue.

Classes become available for booking at 9pm, 8 days before they take place. For example, a class scheduled for Monday the 8th will open for booking at 9pm on Sunday the 1st.

Class fully booked? We recommend checking back during the week, as cancellations often occur—particularly in the final few days before the class. Additionally, we’re excited to introduce a notification list feature soon, allowing you to be alerted when spaces become available. Stay tuned!

For a comfortable and effective workout, we recommend lightweight, breathable clothing that allows you to move freely. Proper footwear is also essential—opt for supportive trainers suited to the type of class you’re attending. For activities like yoga or Pilates, you may prefer bare feet or grip socks.

Don’t forget to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated and you may want a small towel if your session is likely to work up a sweat. If you’re unsure about any specific requirements for your class, feel free to ask a member of our team for guidance.

We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early to check in, secure a locker if needed, and prepare for the start of your class. If it’s your first visit, please allow extra time to speak with the instructor before the class begins, especially if you have special requirements or important information to share.

If you arrive after the class has started, it's at the discretion of the instructor whether you can join. In some cases, late arrivals can disrupt others and missing a warm-up, important instructions or proper equipment set-up can compromise safety.

To improve the workout experience, many of our classes feature energetic music and dynamic lighting, including flashing lights, to create a lively and motivating atmosphere.

We understand preferences and sensitivities can vary. If you have any concerns about the music volume or lighting effects, please speak with your instructor before the class begins. They will be happy to discuss any adjustments that can be made while keeping the class enjoyable for everyone.

We aim to create an inclusive and welcoming environment in all our fitness classes. Your feedback helps us maintain a balance that ensures a positive experience for all participants.

We know many of you enjoy following your favourite instructors so it’s helpful to know who is leading your class. While we show the regular instructor online, they are self-employed and occasionally arrange cover when needed. They’ll usually let the group know in advance, but last-minute changes can happen.

With the number of classes running across our venues each day, we’re not able to notify members individually about any changes. However, all cover instructors are fully qualified and committed to delivering the same high-quality experience you expect from Glasgow Club.

If you can’t make it to a class you’ve booked, please cancel your space as soon as possible. This helps free up spots for other members who are eager to attend and ensures everyone has the chance to enjoy our classes.

You can easily cancel your booking through the app or our online booking website, if it was inclusive in your membership. Alternatively, our venue team can help with this.
