Pickleball Court Booking
Pickleball is a fun, friendly game that can be played with two or four players on a court about the size used for badminton. There's one price for the court whether playing singles (2 players) or doubles (4).
Equipment
The ball is a light weight plastic ball with holes in it and plastic "paddles" are used as racquets.
Racquets are available to borrow, subject to availability. Please note, we are unable to provide balls, so please bring your own. If needed, balls can be purchased from the Sportmax retail stand in the venue.
NOTE: The courts are lined for pickleball as well as badminton and other sports at Donald Dewar, Gorbals, Maryhill and Scotstoun. At other venues, there aren't specific pickleball lines but this need not stop you enjoying the game.
Booking and Access
IMPORTANT:
- Court hire is for a maximum of four players
- All players must check in together at reception before heading to court
- Booking time includes equipment set-up and dismantling
- Bookings are charged at the discounted rate (junior or concession) when booked by a qualifying customer.
- If more than two people are using the court (e.g. doubles), half the participants must prove entitlement to any discount (junior or concession). Where proof is not provided, the difference between the discounted rate and the full adult price must be paid.
